The Board is delighted to announce that we have appointed Colin Copus as our very first non-executive Director. Colin as many will know is a very high profile and respected figure in the local government field and it is a real compliment to ADSO that he has agreed to join us. Colin is Emeritus Professor of Local Politics at the Department of Politics and Public Policy at De Montfort University. He is also Visiting Professor at the Centre for Local Politics – Department of Political Sciences – Ghent University. Colin will be a real asset in providing the Board with expert advice and independent challenge as well as promoting ADSO in many of his other roles both nationally and internationally.
