Appointment of Officers of the Association

The Association of Democratic Services Officers will be electing its officers at the Annual General Meeting on the 23rd November 2017.

The officer roles are; Chair, Vice Chair, Board Secretary, Director of Finance, Director of Communications and Director of Development. We are currently accepting nominations for these positions, and your nomination form must be submitted to the Company Secretary by the 2nd October 2017. None of the Officer roles carry over automatically, so all existing Officers need to be re-nominated if standing for any position.

Members wishing to put themselves forward as Chair or Vice Chair must be nominated by a proposer, seconder and eight other Association Members (10 in total). Candidates for the remaining Officer positions require a proposer and seconder only.

You will need to submit a completed nomination form, written endorsement of your candidacy from your employer; a 200 word biography detailing your qualifications, work experience and what you expect to bring to the role; along with a recent photo for the website.
