Book of condolence for John Lynch

John Lynch

It was with deep sadness that on Sunday 17 July, ADSO had to announce that John Lynch, our long-standing Finance Director, passed away after a fall at home in which he suffered a catastrophic brain injury. The tragic news has shocked and upset us all. John was a founding Director of ADSO, truly devoted to our cause. He was a much-loved friend and a fantastic colleague, the messages already received have demonstrated this.

John leaves a massive gap in all our lives. He had ADSO running through his veins, and we have lost a wonderful man.

John Austin is in touch with his beloved wife Wendy, and we will support her as much as possible.

The online book of condolence, is now closed. Thank you for your contributions, we  created a book for Wendy and John’s family.

Thank you for your support at this difficult time.

  1. John’s death was such a shock. He was active and so full of zest for life. A great ADSO colleague and supporter of democracy. I especially like his plain speaking and direct approach. We will all miss him, we already do.
