I previously advised that Matt Kane had resigned from his role as regional representative in the East Midlands. At the July meeting, the ADSO Board expressed their thanks to Matt for his great service to the association. We have decided to delay seeking his permanent replacement until after the summer holidays. If you are interested, then keep any eye out for the advert. I will flag it up in my bulletin at the time. Even if you don’t fancy the full role, you can still offer your services to support the regional representative in a number of different ways. Please get in touch with me and we can discuss the options. In the meantime, Rebecca Owen (Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council) and John Thorpe (Leicester City Council) have kindly agreed to cover the role on a temporary basis. Thanks to both.
