Weekly update

Having joined the ranks of retired ADSO members (I might even be the founder member!), I’m keen to encourage others who may be retiring to continue as members. It’s only £15 per year and it’s ideal if colleagues want to keep in touch or perhaps put themselves forward for consultancy or part time work in the future. So if you are retiring or have retired, why not continue as a member? Likewise, if you know of anybody who is leaving your team, please let them know that they can continue to enjoy the benefits that ADSO offers. Who knows if we get enough retired members, we might even organise a coach tour to the seaside candy floss plus fish and chips included. Now that should get them flocking in!

I flagged up a few weeks ago that the new ADSO diploma is now up and running. Ably led by Sue Keogh, a great deal of work has gone into designing a new qualification that is fit for purpose for many years to come. We have listened to what previous learners have said and made changes to the structure and format. So if you are interested in getting a highly valued qualification that will certainly improve your career prospects, please contact Sue Keogh sue.keogh@adso.co.uk to find out more.
