Last Friday evening, John Austin, John Lynch, Sue Keogh and I were privileged to attend the Lawyers in Local Government (LLG) Annual Awards evening, where ADSO sponsored the Governance Lawyer/Team of the Year. Our presence on Friday is another example of how well ADSO is working in partnership with other organisations in the legal and governance field in the public sector. We are also looking forward to representatives from LLG attending our own conference next week and to continued co-operation with LLG and others going forward.
Finally, as I enter the last 10 days of a truly enjoyable 3 years as a Director of ADSO and Company Secretary, I’d like to thank everyone associated with the Board and all members for their unstinting support and hard work, which has seen ADSO grow from strength to strength. I wish the new Board every success going forward and will continue to support ADSO as a member in any way I can.
