We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced person with significant experience in Democratic Services and Scrutiny to join our dynamic team.

You will be innovative, positive and help to drive improvements within the team. You will have management/supervisory experience, a thorough knowledge of Overview and Scrutiny and how local government operates, you will have worked in a Democratic Services or similar Governance role

You will be a strong all-round communicator, demonstrate tact and diplomacy, attention to detail, an ability to think logically and able to plan ahead and work with the minimum of supervision. Reliability and calmness under pressure are pre-requisites, given that the role often involves working to tight deadlines.
