The second two-day Region XI Symposium will be held in Brussels, Belgium in 7th and 8th September 2017.
The IIMC Symposium Program – “Broadening your Horizons—a European Perspective” will provide an opportunity to meet with and learn from inspiring international speakers and your colleagues around the world about democracy in action with a specific focus on Europe. Translation Services will be provided.
This Symposium is open to everyone. Those working toward their Certified or Master Municipal Clerk designation will also earn CMC/MMC points for certification
The sessions will serve to engage with local authority chief executives and clerks on the key EU policy issues that have a significant impact on the work of local authorities and municipalities throughout Europe. The Symposium will be a key opportunity to debate these issues with policy makers and senior managers from local and regional government over the two days.
Points for the Brussels Symposium have not been determined.
No registrations will be accepted after Thursday 17th August 2017.
