ADSO Awards 2014 – deadline extended until 15th August
Thank you to those of you who have sent in a submission for the ADSO Awards. For those of you who are still thinking about submitting an entry, we have extended the deadline until 15th August 2014.
We are looking for:
- Learner of the Year – nominations from Advisers and Line Managers
- Teams of the Year (1 award for Borough/Districts and 1 award for Mets/Counties/Unitaries) – written submission
- Democratic Services Officer of the Year – nominations from Chief Executives and Councillors
The winner of each category will receive a certificate and trophy. The winning Learner and Democratic Services Officer will have the opportunity to attend next year’s IIMC conference in America (or receive £100 cash) and the winning team will receive £300 to celebrate their achievement.
Shortlisting will take place by 31st August followed by interviews with those shortlisted and the winners announced by 30th September.
The Awards will be presented at a dinner as part of the ADSO conference on Thursday 20th November at Birmingham City Football Club.
