ADSO West Midlands Regional Meeting 29 June 2017

 

REGIONAL CONFERENCE!

This year we held a joint regional conference with the East Midlands branch of ADSO on Friday 3 July at Shire Hall, Warwick. The event had a fantastic turnout from across the two regions and delivered a “looking ahead” theme, focusing on the impact of the May elections on local democracy and governance and what’s in store for local government and Democratic Services over the coming years. As well as workshops delivered by experienced practitioners, the event also had valuable input from Grant Thornton and Weightmans, who brought an external perspective and useful pointers regarding the future challenges for Democratic Services.

STEERING GROUP AND REGIONAL ACTION PLAN

The Action Plan, which sets out the aims and objectives of the West Midlands Branch, can be accessed

 This will be implemented by the Steering Group.

The Steering Group is a small group of ADSO members who plan regional events and activities.  The members are:
