As the Team Leader for Constitutional Services you will be responsible for the effective management of the Constitutional Services team – now doesn’t that sound straight-forward? You will live and breathe the constitution, providing advice to officers and councillors in the decision making process, as well as ensuring that actions and decisions are taken in an ethical and judicious manner. You will manage a team of people to collectively provide effective support for all meetings of the Council, including report writing and note taking as necessary. You will support all councillors in their role as community leaders and the civic engagements programme of the Mayor and Deputy Mayor each year. You will also have the opportunity to get involved in Elections – a chance to be at the very start of the democratic process.
