Parliament Outreach Workshop

The Democratic Services Department at Hyndburn Borough Council have secured a North West regional visit from the Houses of Parliament Outreach Service.

This free event will consist of:

  • A workshop about how Parliament works and how to actively participate.
  • A presentation, talk and Q & A with Hyndburn’s Member of Parliament, Graham Jones about the role of an MP, from both a constituency and Parliamentary viewpoint.

Parliamentary Outreach spreads awareness of the work, processes and relevance of the institution of Parliament, encouraging greater engagement between the public and the House of Commons and House of Lords.
