Many congratulations to Julia Stuckey from Mid Devon District Council who has recently completed her ADSO Certificate and Karen Widdowson from Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council for achieving her Assessors Award. Well done to both of you.
The ADSO qualifications go from strength to strength and we have recently inducted 24 learners on the new Certificate.
We have also released details of new training courses for the “Effective Scrutiny Officer” in London and Stoke City. Places are limited so get in there early, details can be found below.
We received 6 expressions of interest from members who wish to attend the IIMC Region XI symposium in Brussels in September. I am recommending to the Board on 7 April that all 6 applications be accepted for sponsorship. If you are one of the 6, I will be in contact with you shortly after that meeting.
