Guidance on remote committee meetings for English councils (and police and crime panels)

The guidance is an immediate response to the regulations and is based on the information available at the time. We are conscious that there are still a number of questions to be answered and we are in dialogue with relevant civil servants to seek more explanation and clarity around certain issues. Therefore, we will update the guidance when we have further information.

  1. Hi – hope everyone had a good easter. Does anyone have a briefing note for the chairman/meeting procedure note for virtual meetings that they would be happy to share ? Also any information on how they handle questions from councillors who are non-members and the public many thanks Clare
