We had our spring Board Meeting and it was a real pleasure to welcome Joanna Boaler (Eastern Region), Peter Forrester (North West) and James McLaughlin (Yorkshire & Humberside) to their first meetings. I’m very pleased with the current composition of the Board. They are a great team working on your behalf.
Co-incidentally, we discussed succession planning and how we can continue to attract quality people to take ADSO forward. We came up with a number of suggestions which we will consider in more detail. But if you think you have what it takes to play your part, please get in touch. This could be supporting your regional representatives, shadowing and supporting a current Board member or perhaps just coming to a Board meeting to see us in full swing.
Many of you will have heard that we are now holding our training courses in either London or the Midlands. Some previous courses had to be cancelled in other parts of the country due to lack of take up, or we ran them at a loss.
